Last July 28, 2010 the Board of Trustees of the foundation meets at Q. C. Sports Club together with the New Members. Which they conduct Election of New Sets of Officers for FY 2010-2012.

Angelina Mora is one of the recipients of the scholarship program of the Quezon City Cubao Lions Club. She just completed her first-year as an accountancy major at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. Like many other indigent students who graduate from public high schools, Angelina would not have been able to pursue a college education without this scholarship program.

The scholarship program is one of the flagship projects of our club. It provides free college education to poor but deserving students of Quezon City. Benefits under the scholarship program include tuition fees, book allowances, and monthly transportation allowances. After more than 20 years of the program’s existence, we have produced several scholars who are now gainfully employed, some of whom have even become leaders of their respective institutions.

The Quezon City Cubao Lions Club takes pride in this noble endeavor of serving our community and fellow men.
