A simple ceremony was held last August 26, 2010 in Jose F. Diaz Memorial National High School in the area on San Mateo, Rizal which is affected by Typhoon Ondoy. The Donor of the Drinking Fountain was Houstoun Millenium Lions Club USA in cooperation with the Q C Cubao Lions Club formally Turn Over the Donation.

Barangay KO, Sagot Ko Feeding Program and Gift Giving for the children of Barangay Batasan Hills, Quezon City

“The Introductory Seminar on Lions Quest” was held last October 26, 2009 at the Juan Sumulong High School from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Twelve teachers and 12 Lions attended the seminar including DG Copio Uy of 301-D2 and MD Lions Quest Chairperson Manny Cuasay of QC Cubao Lions Club. PDG Valentin Villanueva lectured on “What is LCIF” and 301-D2 Lions Quest chairperson Lion Ramon “Louie” Encarnacion talked on “Drug Problem of the Filipino Youth in the Philippines” and Lions Quest program.

The seminar was well accepted by the participants especially the educators who were happy that “Lions are volunteering their time and resources to help the youth through the Lions Quest program.”

Participants were given Lions Quest handouts and certificate of participation for attending the Introductory Seminar on Lions Quest.”
